We also want to let you know about a local organization that you may be interested in contacting. Since many of you have expressed an interest in continuing to volunteer with organizations that serve the homeless in Orange County, we urge you to visit the Volunteer Center of Orange County's website at www.volunteercenter.org. Their knowledgeable staff can get you connected with agencies that serve the homeless, in addition to a wide range of other non-profit agencies that fulfill many other human and social service roles in our community. Even though the next Point-In-Time won't be until 2011, there's plenty of time to volunteer in your community between now and then!
