We need over 1,000 community volunteers – LIKE YOU...
to help make the 2007 Point-In-Time Homeless Count & Survey process a success! If you are interested in being a part of this exciting and critical project, please review the Volunteer Job Descriptions, fill out the Volunteer Application as quickly as possible.

Please be aware that anyone who wishes to be part of a field team (either on the evening of the Count or the day of the Survey) MUST attend one, 2-hour training session. Please check our online Training Schedule; there are over 25 training dates available between November and January. Please select the one that fits your schedule and RSVP to Mary Schwartz at OC Partnership at mary.schwartz@ocpartnerhsip.net. Those who wish to be Support Volunteers do not need to attend a training.
 
Are You the Type of Volunteer We Are Looking For?
Are you over the age of 18? For those under 18, with parental approval, there may still be a role for you! Can you walk 1 to 2 miles unassisted, as a potential enumerator and/or surveyor? Are you bilingual? If you can read and speak Spanish or Vietnamese, you can fill a special set of volunteer needs. People from all professions and walks of life are encouraged to volunteer, for example:
County and city employees
Police and fire agency employees
College students
Employees of shelters or other service providers
Faith-based community members
Service or other civic organization members
And anyone with a heart for this special population!
